This is a a really common reason people have for not going for quality invitations. However, your invitation is an introduction to your wedding day and sets the tone for the whole affair. They tell your guests what to expect - a casual and intimate event, a formal and sophisticated evening or a festive night of celebration. One of the most saved items from a wedding, after the photographs, is the invitation and the program. I have known people to keep invitations on their fridge for years after the event or tucked away in a special place. Your invitations can be a work of art and an investment in the memory of your day. There are budget friendly options available to ensure you can have heirloom quality stationery.
Turn around times will vary project to project. Standard delivery times for invitations are 6-8 weeks before the wedding, so contact me at least 12-14 weeks in advance. That said, earlier the better!
Yes! Contact me to enquire about pricing. If you would like to supply your own envelopes, place cards or paper for calligraphy please provide 20% extra contingency and check with me first to make sure it's an appropriate surface for calligraphy. As for printing, I work with my printer's range of wonderful papers, you are sure to find something to your liking from smooth papers, linen textures to handmade papers.
Contact me to see if I can fit in a rush order. If I can, a 40% fee will be added to any order that must be completed within 2 weeks. Rush orders are created with just as much care as normal orders, they are simply prioritized ahead of the queue.
I love to be able to oversee the quality of the printing and the paper. So for this reason I do not offer printable files for wedding suites.
