I am SO thrilled, excited and beyond appreciated to be feature in Green Wedding Shoes on October the 2nd.
This brilliant shoot was a collaboration with a team who are all at the top of their game in the Australian wedding industry and I am so honoured to be a part of it. It was particularly exciting for me to illustrate my first wedding cake wrap - I hope there are many more to come because I loved it!

These incredible images were taken on film by Casey from Casey Jane Photography. Mavis's Kitchen is a gorgeous rustic venue at Uki, 6km from Mt Warning in NSW. It is an old 25 hectare dairy farm surrounded by World Heritage Rainforest and the Tweed Valley. Well worth a visit, especially for the food!

This gorgeous indie-boho styled shoot was shot on location at the idyllic venue Logwoods Homestead, in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast and at the nearby Cyclad Gardens of Eudlo. If I could go back in time I would totally get married there! As cactus and the colour yellow are some of my favourite things, I was very inspired working on this suite!
‘She had a passionate longing for the garden,
the pure sky,
'The garden was heavily inspired by Pre-Raphaelite paintings and old-worldly gypsy vibes. Nature was used as a backdrop also as a grounding element, and the use of mirrors and doorways in the background of some images to further develop narrative. I focused on things like the fruit, which naturally have a luminous, even garish colours and simplicity of line. I have always been drawn to Pre-Raphaelite paintings, in particular the way the light hits the skin, and the richness of colours too. We hope to inspire couples to skip trends and do things their own way.'

Amanda and Rhys were married at Villa Rustica, Byron Bay. You can see more of their inspiring elopement in the feature by none other than Hello May magazine. Amanda is an incredible wedding photographer herself, you'll find her at Peppermint Photography.
‘To me, she was,
those final steps,
the turn around the last bend,
with the light on,
and a fire lit,
and a faint laugh in the distance on a warm wind.
That was she.
She was my always coming home..’
Heavily inspired by a love of the ocean, poetry, carefree adventure and all things ethereal and hauntingly beautiful.
As I built on these concepts of The Lighthouse I found further inspiration in the spontaneity and romance of an elopement. The crisp air, untamed botanics, and the texture of the deepest blue of the ocean became a reflection of the quiet emotional tenderness and intimate connections between two people very much in love.
I became captivated by the idea of exchanging vows in front of a Lighthouse, which provides a polished look against its rugged surroundings. With a hope to inspire the free-spirited couples opting for the sea instead of a traditional ceremony. The lovers who are ready to jump in – hand in hand and feet first, into the magic that is destination elopement.

'Gather and Feast' says it all. It is about coming together with the family of your choice and sharing good food, good cake, good drink and a whole lot of laughs. This is what Christmas is all about; love, acceptance, tolerance and beauty. This stunning shoot was set up at Montrose Barn and conceived by the very talented Emma from Coco and Confetti.

This moody, edgy and elegant indie editorial shoot was featured by Burnett's Boards, 2017.
In the interest of full transparency, this is my own wedding suite. This is where I found I had a passion for wedding stationery and reignited my love of calligraphy which I had toyed with as a teenager. I loved designing all the little details, the labels, the signage and the fun interactive pieces that pulled it all together.
This suite is available for purchase with customised lettering, please enquire for pricing.
‘She was chaos and beauty intertwined.
A tornado of roses
“My vision for this shoot was to create something wild and poetic but still have the strong feel of romance and elegance. With wrought iron details, movement from the wind, images of broken light and strong shadows, Wild Rose aims to inspire brides with the romance that comes from hues of soft pinks and wild untamed botanics. Behind the gates of the European inspired courtyard the bride and groom are surrounded by pebbled pathways and with stone and ivy covered walls. The delicate colour scheme of blush, soft whites and ethereal tones of flowing silks, hand calligraphy, and unstructured bouquets were pulled into a beautiful love story. The tablescape incorporated moody tones of black and grey against the pinks and whites to create depth and elegance and the Innes gown by Gwendolynne was perfect with its intricate hand beading details and complimented the feel of the shoot beautifully.”
